January. The New Beginning
Hi my dear friends,
And welcome to my blog, where I will be sharing with you some behind the scenes content from my garden, latest updates, my thoughts, but most importantly I wanted to create a little community here of those who follow me and my journey. I will be delighted to share here my gardening tips and secrets that I’ve discovered during my garden journey.
First of all, thank you! I will never get used to the fact how many of you are interested in my posts and waiting for the new updates. So, to show you my respect and appreciation, I created this blog to keep you updated, informed, but also to inspire you. Inspire your day, inspire you to fall in love with gardening and maybe create your own oasis at home, to embrace the power of nature and surrender to the present moment.
This month I had a revelation. All this time I had this idea in my head, that I’m making a Japanese garden. I was so strict with myself, choosing only Japanese plants, but the really was showing me something different. For example, a big area of the garden is taken by giant 100 year old English Oak trees and the whole garden in itself, is actually located in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
So I realised, instead of fighting it, I will embrace it, giving bigger meaning to this garden. I love Japanese principles in gardens - simplicity, natural approach to planting, meditation zones and tranquility feeling. But I also want to give something to this country, that became my home from 2020. By embracing British Heritage plants in Japanese style, it will create a unique look and something that will bridge the cultures. And all of it will be intertwined with Doodles and Ukrainian touch. Instead of making something that’s already out there, I will tell the story of our life’s through this garden, embracing beautiful historical plants of The United Kingdom. I’m so excited! It will be a great year full of interesting content, projects and results.
Thank you for being with me on this journey.
